Squirrel!! :D
Made this little fellow to test if I can aim a bit at a certain style I had in mind. I used some photo reference for the colors of the fur and such. Check the reference out here. I also found a very nice picture with a good lighting composition (top left corner), so I used that one as reference for the light. This worked so good! I think I still need to learn a lot about value and light, so It really helps a lot to have a little reference while drawing. :) Also need to work a bit on my anatomy, maybe start with a better base sketch next time.
As for style, I really like the work of Jerome Jacinto and tried to aim a bit into that direction. ^^ Check his work out here, its amazing!

I’ve been working on a logo for a friend of mine, and it’s done! :D I’m still not totally happy with how the text look. I think that could be improved but the overal design is good for now and If needed we’ll improve it later on! ^^
Soon I’ll be making the back of this coin too so it can be animated later on. :) Used Illustrator and photoshop for this one.

The storyboard is done!…Or do I need to say the first draft of the storyboard? Of course there will be some small changes over time, but I think most shots are now set in stone.

Post-its! I started making the storyboard on the computer in photoshop. But I soon figured I needed to work more roughly and sketchy. I took the technique I’ve learned in LA from Vis Dev classes, and used post-its to sketch out all the scenes! Because this is a very iterative process I’ve first sketched out every possible scene I could imagine from reading the story. After having all those ideas quickly sketched on the post-it’s I started ordening them, choosing the ones I liked and dismissing the ones that didn’t work.
